The historic exchange building turns into the business lounge of Rotterdam
World Trade Center Rotterdam welcomes the latest branch of De Koffiesalon. The agreement was signed yesterday. De Koffiesalon owner, Diederik Habbema, says “After six branches in Amsterdam, we are proud to open our first branch in Rotterdam.” De Koffiesalon serves its guests pure, artisanal coffee from the supplies of partner Anton Willemars, owner of Buscaglione Espresso. De Koffiesalon will be located in the lobby of WTC Rotterdam, next to the WTC Rotterdam Business Center that will move to the ground floor later this year. The Business Center is WTC Rotterdam’s flexible working environment, offering both flexible working spaces and business rooms. This community is growing every week.
WTC Rotterdam is continually working on further developing its facilities in the building, where meeting, working and leisure are central. “De Koffiesalon is part of our master plan to make WTC Rotterdam more accessible for the city so that everyone in Rotterdam can enjoy this wonderful historic building. WTC Rotterdam’s role as the business hub of Rotterdam is growing,” says Angélique van Hienen, Managing Director World Trade Center Rotterdam. De Koffiesalon will open its doors this spring.
About De Koffiesalon
In 2015, the company was chosen as the best coffee maker in the Netherlands by an international jury. It was a wonderful achievement by its 65 baristas. The front of every coffee shop is the same, adapted to the premises and the neighborhood. Behind the scenes, it is one company with one identity, one barista course and the same procedures and products everywhere. De Koffiesalon strives to make the best coffee in the Netherlands every day. No odd flavors, no curious names, no frills. Just thousands of excellent cups of coffee every day.
